Our doctors don’t just treat movement — they live it.

As active individuals, parents, and athletes, our team understands what it means to demand a lot from the body every day. That firsthand experience is what drives our mission at MVMT Rx: to help guide others toward an active, resilient lifestyle through care that’s built on real-world movement, not theory alone.

The four chiropractors at MVMT Rx Sports Care and Chiropractic in Reno, NV

Dr. Kyle Hemsley DC, CSCS

I founded MVMT Rx in February 2020 out of a single room inside Reno's premier powerlifting facility and built it into the multi-clinician practice it is today.

My path into this work was personal: four sports, multiple shoulder surgeries, and a derailed collegiate baseball career redirected my focus toward helping others stay out of the operating room.

I trained under some of the sharpest minds in sports medicine and hold a Doctorate in Chiropractic alongside CSCS, USAW L1, CF-L1, and NASM CPT/PES.

Outside the clinic, I'm an active dad who loves backcountry skiing, mountain biking, and the Eastern Sierras with my family and our Great Dane, Axle.

Dr. Mike Fitzsimmons DC, MS

I work with active individuals across all walks of life, helping them reclaim their health, move better, and feel confident in their bodies through plans built specifically for them, not a cookie-cutter approach.

This work is personal: watching my mom go through back surgery and come out worse never left me. I'm here to make sure you have the tools to help yourself so you never walk that same road.

My biggest goal is simple, to be your loudest advocate. When I'm not in the clinic, you'll find me somewhere in the mountains.

Dr. Alex King DC

I help active people get out of pain, move better, and get back to doing what they love.

My approach blends chiropractic care, sports rehab, strength training, and movement-based assessment, finding what's actually driving your symptoms, not just chasing pain.

I'm passionate about working with lifters, athletes, and everyday active people who want to feel strong and capable.

What drew me here: I love helping people realize they're not broken, and that with the right plan, their body can do more than they think.

Dr. Garrett Porter DC, CSCS

I bring a unique blend of performance coaching and clinical expertise to MVMT Rx.

My background spans Driveline Baseball, S&C internships at Cal Poly, Long Beach State, and Cal State Fullerton, where I earned my B.S. in Kinesiology.

I hold my CSCS, Pre-Script L1, and USAW L1, and completed my chiropractic education at Southern California University of Health Sciences.

Outside the clinic I enjoy Olympic weightlifting, movies, and music, and I'm passionate about helping people move better and keep doing what they love.

The People You'll Talk To First

The first voices you'll hear and the faces you'll see when you walk through our doors. They're the reason MVMT Rx feels different from your very first call.

Liz Wolfgang - Patient Coordinator

Hi, I'm Liz, one of the first people you'll talk to at MVMT Rx.

I started this work because I genuinely care about people. There's something special about hearing someone's story and

helping them feel heard before they even begin treatment.

Being patient-first means following up personally, catching the details that matter, and making sure no one feels like just a number.

That's the kind of care I'd want for my own family, and it's what I bring to every call.

Nina Serrano - Front Desk

Hi, I'm Nina. I'm usually the first face you'll see when you walk in — and my job is to make sure that first impression feels nothing like the healthcare experiences most of our patients have had before.

I take pride in the small stuff: remembering your name, knowing what you're working on, and making sure you never feel like a chart on a schedule.

Being part of a team that actually helps people get their lives back is what makes this work worth doing.
